Arctic Silhouettes

When the sun is high in the sky and at your back, what better way to pass the time than taking a few photos of the spectacular Arctic landscapes?

The Arctic has seen many a hiker, but I wonder if the lands north of timberline have ever seen a photo series of silhouettes. These photos did more to capture the energy of the Arctic than any others I have taken during my time in the Brooks Range.
